Without an account, you can search for any healthcare provider in our comprehensive and growing database.

Account registration is only required if you will be using the eHealth services such as Online Appointment Booking, accessing the latest health tips, monitoring your personal health records and other features available for registered users only. Our registration process is simple, quick and easy.

Absolutely! There are no hidden costs and completely free for patients by Health Engine.

Note that internet is not included in our services and will be charged by your subscribed internet service providers and your medical fees will be handled by your preferred healthcare providers.

Health Engine is a consistently growing database for doctors and other health institutions in Mauritius. You can search practices by their speciality or other medical providers by their services that wish to receive assistance from. (e.g. Dentist – for dental care)

All you need is a PC or any mobile device and an internet source to use the platform.

This feature makes use of the patient’s location to best determine the closest practices, hospitals, clinics, laboratories or pharmacies in the area in case of an emergency.

As an indication of their overall experience, the testimonials and ratings are provided by previous patients who have received medical assistance from specific medical providers. The reviews may be used as a guideline to help you in the process of seeking healthcare on the platform.

There is a Booking section (Tab) on the Doctor’s profile page from which you can select the time and date for your appointment. Once chosen, you will need to fill in some information about your appointment you seek to book in order to create the appointment. Click on the CREATE APPOINTMENT button when you have finished entering the information and you are done!

Your personal information is only transmitted to the practice when your online appointment booking has been accepted by the doctor to eliminate the collection of the same information and saves you from waiting in the queue.

As for your health records, you can choose to share them with the only concerned practice of your choice.

Log into your account on healthengine.mu and click on “Profile” tab on your dashboard or from the dashboard menu. Under the profile page, you can change your personal details like your phone number, password, Emergency contact, etc.

Similarly, you can access your electronic health records in the HEALTH RECORDS section of your dashboard alongside other features.

You can retrieve your password by clicking on the Forgot your Password link on the login page. Your password will be sent to the email address you provided upon registration. You can always reset your own password. If you have any trouble retrieving your password or logging in, contact us at [email protected].

If you want to delete your Health Engine account, contact our Support team.
